Nigerian music veterans Timaya and Duncan Mighty reunite on the vibrant collaborative single “Kontrol,” released on July 10, 2026.
Marking a massive link-up between two of the Niger Delta region’s most influential hitmakers, the standalone single brings together their signature heavy baselines and distinct vocal deliveries.
The track brings forward a high-energy dancehall and Afro-pop bounce, focusing on themes of celebration, rhythmic dominance, and street credibility.
With both artists trading verses over a fast-paced beat, the chemistry mirrors their classic collaborations from the late 2000s and early 2010s. The single is a solo delivery from the duo without an accompanying body of work announced yet, putting full emphasis on the single release.
Listeners can find the collaborative record on all major digital streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
