Rising Afrobeats singer-songwriter Taves delivers a significant moment in contemporary Nigerian pop with his latest standalone single, “Uche Jumbo.”
Released on June 26, 2026, under the Mother Africa Reigns Supreme (MARS) imprint, the single features Taves steering the track solo with no guest vocalists, showcasing his ability to lead the song independently.
The single stands out as the first official release to sample Wizkid’s foundational 2011 hit “Don’t Dull,” bridging the early foundations of the genre with the modern vanguard.
Produced by the collaborative team of Arieenati, OG Sterling, and Samklef, the track reanimates the classic rhythm across a fresh vocal template.
