Grammy-winning musician Steve Lacy teams up with SZA for the new collaborative single “is it cool?”, released on June 26, 2026. Distributed via RCA Records, the track serves as the third single from Lacy’s upcoming third studio album, Oh Yeah?.
The upcoming full-length LP features 10 tracks in total, including previously released singles and additional guest appearances from Erykah Badu and Cecile Believe.
The production features a minimalist approach, layering a soft guitar arrangement over a steady, time-ticking rhythm. SZA delivers a relaxed vocal performance, weaving vocal harmonies into the second verse and the outro.
The track also benefits from layered vocal contributions by backing vocalists Fousheé and Ravyn Lenae.
